Take 16C Mike McGowan - Executive Producer, Philanthropist, Non Profit Co-Founder
Wednesday May 04, 2022
Wednesday May 04, 2022
(Recorded 1/2/2022)
Starting the New Year off right with a 7 hour (!!) podcast with non profit co-founder, philanthropist, and Executive Producer Mike McGowan. This is some of the most fun I’ve had doing a podcast. We discuss everything life and filmmaking, including the value of networking-how chance encounters can lead to some of our greatest opportunities (it’s who you know), the importance of breaking through your fears- how the pain of inaction can be much worse, and how it’s much better knowing you helped someone- than getting recognition for it.

Tuesday Aug 31, 2021
Tuesday Aug 31, 2021
My friend Darlene A. Sacco and I had the great honor and privilege of sitting down with a WWII Veteran and his wife of 71 years, Herbert “Herb” Ridyard and Nancy “Lou” Ridyard. Herb shared with us about his service in WWII from the beginning to the end of the war, and we also asked them both about what it was like growing up in the Great Depression, the differences between then and now, and they also gave great advice to couples today on how to lead a long and happy marriage.
